It still runs hotter than any other distro and on my framework it's right on the fan threshold. I wish they would fix whatever is going on. Phoronix[0] did some tests 2022 but crickets from the fedora team ever since. You find some threads here and there but for me its a recurring problem over different machines.
Power settings are there but to keep it as low as say on Debian or Arch I have to disable boost. The CPU usage is maybe 1-2% higher at idle but that shouldn't end up in 3-4 degrees.

interesting, I never had any issues with that but maybe I was lucky. Does it give you the option (in GNOME) to adjust the power settings?
If you are using one of the spins though, that would make sense (that things aren't as polished).
